Not much of a beach day. We didn't lose power, though, and for that I am grateful.

delmer said...: Your picture of the ocean reminded me of when I lived in Mass. I was at the bank one day and was talking with the teller about the differences between Ohio and Massachusetts and, at some point, said, "Well, you have the ocean."

She said, "I guess that's true. Do you miss it?"

I didn't say anything, but couldn't help thinking, "Ohioans don't really miss the ocean. We never had it to miss. It's not like we were ever on the coast, did something stupid, and for punishment the state was moved 1000 miles inland."
